Break the Silence is a project supported by Ethnic Media Services, funded by the California Health Care Foundation and facilitated by the Multimedia team at Delta College: Photography, Graphic Arts, Mass Communication/ Journalism and Radio Television.
Students participated in a pilot program focusing on depression and anxiety on the community college campus.
Students conducted research (validated through the participation of a Stanford University School of Medicine consultant, Adrienne Lazaro) shared stories via art, photography, podcasts, personal essays, work for print and radio and more. The work resulted in a journal that is available for download here.
